Who you are agreeing with

The Duane & Lisa Betts Family Foundation, at P.O. Box 4573, Jackson, WY 83001, publishes and operates this site. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean the Foundation.

The Foundation is fiscally sponsored by The Method Project. Donations are a separate matter and are covered below.

What this site is

This site describes the Foundation, its initiatives, and the communities it supports. The information here is offered in good faith and may change. Nothing on it is professional, financial, legal or tax advice.

Donations

Where the site offers a way to give, contributions are made to The Method Project, which receives and holds them on the Foundation’s behalf as its fiscal sponsor and retains an administrative fee. The Method Project is the recipient of the gift and issues any receipt.

The Foundation is not itself a tax-exempt organization. Its application is pending. Any statement about the tax treatment of a gift refers to The Method Project, and the giving page sets that out in full at the point of donation.

Using the site

Please use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to it, do not submit anyone else’s personal information through our forms, and do not use the signup form to send mail to people who have not asked for it.

Our content

The text, photography, logo and design on this site belong to the Foundation or to the people who made them, and are used with permission. You may share and link to pages. You may not republish substantial parts of the site, or use the Foundation’s name or logo to suggest an endorsement, without asking us first.

Links to other sites

This site links to sites we do not run. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, or that everything on it is complete and current, though we try.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you arising from the site is limited to US $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state and federal courts located in Teton County, Wyoming.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
